History
Tea's birth story is infused with a blend of myth and fact and colored by ancient concepts of spirituality, and philosophy. According to ancient legend in China, the story of tea began in 2737 B.C. when the Chinese Emperor Shen Nong, a skilled ruler and scientist, accidentally discovered the tea.
While boiling water in the garden, a leaf from an overhanging wild tea tree drifted into his pot. The Emperor enjoyed drinking the infused water with its unusual and delicious flavor. He felt invigorated and refreshed. As a scientist, this serendipitous event compelled him to further research the plant whereby he found tea to have medicinal properties.
And so, the first cup of tea, generated by the mighty leaf, was created by accident.
Use
Orange Dulce
Orange Dulce can be drunk like Organic Earl Grey, in the afternoon and after dinner. Instead of serving port after dinner, surprise your guest with this rich, chocolately tea. Pairs well with spicy and nutty foods.
Green Tea Tropical
Green Tea Tropical makes an ideal after-dinner drink. Pairs well with spicy foods and seafood. Try it as an iced tea during the summer to refresh and revive.
Chamomile Citrus
Chamomile is traditionally drunk by many to soothe the body and mind before bed time However, we recommend serving our Chamomile Citrus as a refreshing herbal infusion to calm and focus the senses before the work day begins.
In the alternative, try it on ice during the summer to refresh and revive. Also, makes an excellent after-dinner digestive. Pair the infusion with light foods and complementary flavors like cookies or fruit flavored item such as lemon or orange.
Brew
Preparing the perfect cup of tea is a process to be savored. Watch how the traditional elements harmoniously come together to make the perfect cup and enjoy the liberation of pure tea goodness.

Water
The quality of tea is affected by the quality of water used to prepare it. Using filtered or bottled water is best. If possible, avoid brewing tea with tap, distilled or mineral water. Never over-boiling water, as it results in flat-tasting tea.
Fire
1) Heat filtered or bottled water to a rolling boil or to 205 F for Orange Dulce and Chamomile Citrus. For Green Tea Tropical heat to 170F-180F or in the alternative bring to a boil and let sit 1-2 minutes. 2) While the water is heating pour hot water into your teapot and cups, let sit and then drain completely. A warm teapot will maintain the requisite temperature for superior tasting tea.

Infusion Time Pour water over tea pouch. Time steeping carefully and for Orange Dulce and Chamomile Citrus infuse for 5 minutes, for Green Tea Tropical, 3 minutes.
